Nature of CHL4 N-Terminal’s Interfaces: Medium to Small Interface Area, Not Very Hydrophobic.

Overview of CHL4 N-terminal and its adjacent chains

In general, protein-protein interfaces containing CHL4 N-terminal do not have a large area. However, as CHL4 N-terminal has five adjacent chains and forms five interfaces with each of them respectively, the overall buried surface area is very large. Besides, those interfaces are not very hydrophobic. Both convex-concave and flat shape can be found in those interfaces.

※Flat interfaces: with OKP1, with CSE4
